Given the large crowds during the holiday, safety reminders were sent to all special equipment users, with emphasis on elevator maintenance and inspection of amusement rides in shopping malls, supermarkets, and tourist attractions. Joint training sessions were conducted with cultural, tourism, and agricultural departments to improve safety management capabilities. Special inspections were carried out on amusement facilities and elevators at key locations such as Fantawild, Journey to the West Park, and MixC. Collaborative checks were also conducted with housing departments on gas filling stations, with civil affairs and fire departments on elderly care facilities, and with emergency and industry departments on aging pressure vessel assessments. A total of 185 equipment units were inspected, with 14 potential hazards addressed. On-site supervision was implemented at amusement parks like Fantawild and Journey to the West Park to monitor operations in real-time and ensure visitor safety. Emergency response services were maintained throughout the holiday to guarantee the safe operation of special equipment.

Food safety oversight was strengthened. Key items such as staple foods and seasonal products, along with high-traffic venues like schools, hospitals, large supermarkets, farmers' markets, restaurants, tourist spots, transportation hubs, and highway service areas, were closely monitored. Special attention was also given to online food delivery, chain restaurants, and rural group dining events. Efforts included issuing consumer risk alerts, conducting safety inspections, performing targeted sampling, and enhancing market governance. Over 1,000 food production and sales units and more than 3,000 catering service providers were inspected, with full coverage achieved for medium and large establishments offering Lunar New Year's Eve dinners.

Product quality supervision was intensified. Key consumer goods closely related to public welfare, such as gas appliances, electric bicycles, and fireworks, were strictly monitored during production and sales. Inspections covered more than 3,000 stores selling electric bicycles, gas appliances, and fireworks, with no substandard or unverified products found.

Drug safety measures were reinforced. Inspections focused on retail pharmacies, online drug and medical device sellers, and primary healthcare institutions. Key items included medications for seasonal disease prevention, controlled substances, compound formulations containing special drugs, and medical aesthetic products. Emphasis was placed on suburban, rural, and border areas. A total of 284 drug and medical device operators were inspected, leading to the identification and rectification of 15 issues.

Consumer rights protection channels were kept open. Platforms such as the 12315 hotline were fully utilized to ensure smooth complaint handling during the holiday. A 24-hour duty system was strictly enforced to promptly address all complaints, ensuring each case was resolved and followed up. During the Spring Festival, the Huai'an 12315 hotline handled 1,237 inquiries, 265 complaints, and 69 reports. Complaints related to tourism, catering, and commerce were quickly assigned and resolved within set timeframes, contributing to continuous market improvement.
