Qinhuangdao Port Co., Ltd. has reported that its sixth subsidiary achieved a total throughput of 7.77 million tons by March 20, marking a 5% year-on-year increase. This result signifies a successful start to the first quarter, accomplished 11 days ahead of schedule.

Throughout the period, the subsidiary maintained a strong focus on its annual production targets, adopting a determined approach from the outset to overcome challenges such as high yard inventory, extreme low temperatures, and holiday operations. By implementing scientific resource allocation, strategic yard planning, reliable equipment support, and dedicated efforts during holiday periods, the company laid a solid foundation for exceeding its阶段性 targets.

The subsidiary promoted the establishment of a multi-party coordinated production system. Internally, it enhanced collaboration among departments and dynamically adjusted operational strategies. Externally, it actively coordinated with railway departments and cargo owners to monitor train arrivals and vessel schedules in real time, optimizing discharge plans and ship operation sequences to ensure seamless integration and improve loading and unloading efficiency.

Effective management and planning were prioritized to ensure continuous and stable operations. The company scientifically arranged stockpile locations based on cargo type and operational needs, utilizing flexible storage areas to accommodate rising inventory. Additionally, preemptive clearing and consolidation of stockpile bases helped eliminate bottlenecks in unloading operations, maximizing the utility of limited space and ensuring timely discharge of all arriving vehicles.

The reliability and maintenance of loading and unloading equipment were treated as critical priorities. In preparation for winter conditions, the subsidiary stockpiled essential spare parts and anti-freeze emergency equipment, while increasing inspection and maintenance frequency for key machinery such as unloaders. As a result, two unloaders have maintained high operational rates year-to-date, providing robust support for efficient production.

During the Spring Festival holiday, company leaders and frontline staff adhered to strict duty schedules, working together to organize production efficiently. Despite an 18-hour wind-related navigation suspension and other adverse factors, the subsidiary loaded 888,000 tons of cargo over the nine-day break, averaging 98,000 tons per day—an increase of 39,000 tons per day compared to the same period last year—demonstrating strong commitment and responsibility.

Building on its successful first-quarter performance, Qinhuangdao Port's sixth subsidiary will continue to deepen scientific management, optimize production organization, and strengthen equipment controls. With heightened determination and practical measures, the company aims to achieve further success in the first half of the year and deliver outstanding annual results.
