Musk posted on X Tuesday that his social media platform will release an updated algorithm later this week, implementing fully artificial intelligence-driven recommendations.
"To some extent, people are seeing their feeds improve, not because specific individuals changed heuristics, but due to the increasing use of Grok and other AI tools," Musk wrote.
"We will release the updated algorithm later this week, including model weights. You'll see many random legacy rules disappear. Starting next month, complete AI recommendations - over 100 million posts daily will be evaluated by Grok to recommend posts you're most likely to find interesting. This will significantly improve the quality of your feed."
"Shortly after, we will build the capability for you to dynamically adjust recommendation content, such as 'show me less political content,'" he added.
