China Mobile Research Institute Partners with AsiaInfo Tech to Launch AI Agent Cross-Domain Coordination Solution

On October 11, at China Mobile's 2025 Global Partner Conference, China Mobile Research Institute jointly with AsiaInfo Tech officially released an AI agent cross-domain coordination solution themed "AI-Powered New Engine, New Path for Business Growth." The launch of this solution represents a significant milestone in the deepening cooperation between both parties and their exploration of endogenous AI networks. Its core lies in the deep integration of AI agent technology with base station endogenous intelligent service assurance capabilities, thereby driving the transformation and upgrade of experience-based operation models while substantially improving service efficiency and commercial value.

User demand for high-quality network services is driving telecom operators to upgrade their service models from traditional traffic management to "experience management." China Mobile has launched tiered and differentiated network assurance services aimed at providing on-demand, instantly effective acceleration assurance for key scenarios and users. However, traditional service activation processes struggle to meet users' real-time service demands, resulting in insufficient business agility. For example, to achieve real-time subscription processes for "HD Live Streaming Acceleration" packages, the system mainly relies on cross-departmental manual coordination to connect multiple platforms across business domains (B-domain), network operation and maintenance domains (O-domain), and network operation domains, leading to prolonged deployment cycles.

The innovative solution released this time establishes standardized interfaces connecting business operation platforms, network optimization platforms, and base station network elements. Leveraging multi-agent coordination and base station endogenous AI technology, user subscription business intents are precisely parsed to generate network optimization and assurance strategies, orchestrating base station endogenous agent capabilities to complete precise perception and proactive assurance.

This innovative solution has been fully validated in practical applications. Taking large-scale sporting event assurance as an example, when on-site users cannot stream smoothly due to network congestion, they can subscribe to "HD Live Streaming Acceleration" services with one click through mobile app AI agents. The assurance intent is parsed and orchestrated into strategies in real-time by the system, directly scheduling endogenous agents at the user's base station. Base station agents then autonomously complete user identification and service assurance, achieving proactive, real-time personalized network protection.

This transformation converts traditional cross-departmental, long-cycle manual configurations into a new end-to-end automated service model from "business intent" to "assurance execution." Based on interface connectivity, pre-configured rule logic, and standardized assurance capabilities, the solution successfully compresses value-added service deployment and activation processes that previously depended on multi-departmental, multi-link coordination from "day-level" to completion within 60 seconds, achieving minute-level automated network service activation.

The release of this solution provides an innovative breakthrough for the long-standing "closed-loop gap between business operations and network execution" problem in the telecommunications industry's intelligent transformation. It drives a profound transformation of wireless network intelligent capabilities from "backend configuration" to "frontend servitization," making precise, instant scenario-based assurance possible. More importantly, this model opens new business growth pathways for operators to transition from providing connectivity to empowering scenario value, holding significant leadership and demonstration significance for commercial model innovation across the entire industry.

Since 2019, China Mobile has led 5G wireless network intelligence standardization efforts in 3GPP, spearheaded research projects on "5G Wireless Network Intelligence Key Technologies" and "Wireless Computing Network Scenarios and Key Technologies" at the China Communications Standards Association, and conducted research on base station endogenous AI key technologies. In recent years, in partnership with industry collaborators, China Mobile has conducted nationwide 31-province scale trials of intelligent use cases including service assurance, network optimization, and network energy savings based on 5G-A networks, achieving significant measured results.
