Konstantinos Chrysikos of Kudotrade stated in a report that oil prices are likely to continue experiencing volatility. Oil prices have retreated from Monday's highs following recent remarks by Donald Trump suggesting that Middle East tensions could ease in the short term. He noted, "Any prolonged restriction or closure of the Strait of Hormuz would severely constrain tanker traffic, forcing oil producers to further cut production due to storage limitations."
