Elegance Optical International Holdings Limited (Stock Code: 907) released unaudited interim results for the six months ended 30 September 2025. The Group recorded revenue of approximately HK$54.69 million, a marked increase from HK$7.10 million in the same period last year. The improvement was driven by revenue expansion in multiple segments, including trading of optical frames and sunglasses, and the newly launched liquor trading business.
The Group’s net profit for the reporting period reached approximately HK$9.06 million, contrasting with a net loss of HK$13.79 million in the previous year. Basic earnings per share stood at 1.04 HK cents, against a basic loss per share of 1.58 HK cents a year earlier. Equity attributable to owners of the Company turned positive, at roughly HK$5.94 million as of 30 September 2025, compared with negative HK$3.07 million as of 31 March 2025.
Trading of optical frames and sunglasses revenue rose significantly to about HK$21.45 million, reflecting the Group’s shift toward a sourcing and procurement model. Liquor trading contributed approximately HK$24.52 million, swiftly establishing itself as a major revenue stream. The film and film rights investment and film distribution segment also grew, generating about HK$8.22 million, mainly from video-related services.
Management highlighted ongoing plans to enhance operating efficiency and strengthen financial resources. As current liabilities exceeded current assets by about HK$31.04 million at the end of the period, the Group secured external credit facilities and continues to seek alternative financing options, striving to ensure sufficient working capital. Despite market challenges, the overall strategic focus remains on diversifying revenue sources through trading, film-related ventures, and prudent cost management.
