The 2026 edition of the "Full Truck YunCheng Scholarship" initiative, jointly launched by the digital freight platform Yunmanman and the FULL TRUCK ALLIANC SPON ADS EACH REP 20 ORD SHS CL A (YMM.US) Public Welfare Foundation, has recently concluded with great success. This year, the program selected 50 outstanding children of truck drivers, each receiving a 3,000 RMB scholarship, helping them carry the warm wishes of the freight industry as they head off to university and begin a new chapter in their lives.

Applications Surge, Project's Reach Expands

Marking the fifth consecutive year of the YunCheng Scholarship, this year's program, launched on July 17, attracted widespread attention and enthusiastic applications from truck driver families nationwide. The number of applicants increased by 82% compared to the same period in 2025. This significant growth reflects the strong reputation built over the past four years and underscores the rising awareness and recognition of the YunCheng Scholarship within the driver community. Among the applicant families were many outstanding students who had gained admission to top universities. After comprehensive review, 50 individuals were ultimately selected for funding.

YunCheng Internship Program Deepens, Moving from Aid to Talent Development

The 2026 YunCheng Scholarship continued its "YunCheng Internship Program," providing awardees with exclusive access to internship resources and establishing a dual-track model of "scholarship plus talent development." Selected students, during their junior and senior years, will have the opportunity to participate in internship selection at the Full Truck Alliance group through a dedicated channel, receiving priority recommendations for internship positions, access to dedicated mentors for career planning guidance, and periodic feedback on their development. Given the current pressures of the job market, this initiative extends the program's scope to empowerment, expanding the support chain from tuition assistance to career development guidance, and has been widely praised by both truck drivers and their children.

The Warmth of Being Seen: Stories of Three Trucking Families

Behind the hundreds of application submissions lie the tireless efforts and aspirations of countless trucking families. Li Wenye from Shandong, who was admitted to Shandong University this year, is the child of driver Li, who operates a 6.8-meter high-sided truck. Upon learning he had received the YunCheng Scholarship, Li Wenye said, "No matter the group, there are people paying attention to them. Truck drivers like my father—there is a platform like Yunmanman that cares about them and their children." He is also looking forward to the internship program, adding, "I want to participate in the 'YunCheng Internship Program' to experience a large company and broaden my horizons."

Yang Zhenbo, a new student at Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics, is the son of driver Yang, who drives a 9.6-meter high-sided truck. Relying on the Yunmanman platform for orders, Yang shoulders the entire family's expenses, including caring for his grandmother and funding his sister's education. After learning about the scholarship, Yang Zhenbo submitted his application materials right away. "Yunmanman is involved in many public welfare activities. Beyond caring for drivers, they also support the children of truck drivers—it's truly heartwarming," he shared.

Student Zhang Xin, admitted to Harbin Engineering University, is the child of driver Zhang, who has long driven a 9.6-meter high-sided truck. "Last month, while looking for work, I saw the YunCheng Scholarship on the platform, which specifically encourages children who have been admitted to university. So I filled out the form. I'm grateful to Yunmanman for supporting truck drivers' children in achieving their university goals." These heartfelt voices from three students offer a glimpse into the recognition the project has earned among hundreds of freight families.

Five Years of Commitment, 203 Families' University Dreams

Since its inception in 2022, the YunCheng Scholarship has established a long-term public welfare mechanism, cumulatively supporting 203 children of truck drivers in realizing their university dreams over the past five years. From Shen Yingliang in Shandong, who spent five years driving for Yunmanman to put two children through university, to Wu Guangheng in Guizhou, whose two children have both received scholarship funding, to Huang Yaoying in Guangxi, who drove his truck to support his son's dream of attending Huazhong University of Science and Technology—these real stories bear witness to the project's continuous evolution from aid to talent development. A representative of the Full Truck Alliance Public Welfare Foundation commented, "This year, we are delighted to see a substantial increase in applications compared to the same period last year.
