LONGBIO-B (01779) has released its interim results for the six months ended June 30, 2026, revealing a net loss attributable to shareholders of RMB 135 million, a 43.1% increase from the same period last year.
The group recorded other income and gains of RMB 3.401 million, marking a substantial surge of 3,809.2% year-on-year, while the loss per share stood at RMB 2.18.
Research and development expenses climbed to RMB 108 million for the first half of 2026, up approximately 60.8% from RMB 67.3 million in the corresponding period of 2025. This increase was primarily driven by a RMB 26 million rise in clinical trial costs, attributed to the progression of LP-003's Phase II trial for CRSwNP and Phase III trial for CSU, as well as the initiation of clinical development for LP-005 across related indications. Additionally, raw material and consumable expenses grew by RMB 10.2 million, reflecting heightened demand for materials in CDMO activities supporting LP-003 and LP-005.
