FIH Mobile buys back 237,000 shares for HKD 4.01 million, outstanding share count trimmed by 0.03%

FIH Mobile Limited disclosed a share repurchase conducted on 19 August 2026, purchasing 237,000 ordinary shares on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange.

• Transaction details: The company paid between HKD 16.66 and HKD 17.40 per share, translating into a volume-weighted average cost of HKD 16.93 and an aggregate consideration of HKD 4.01 million. All repurchased shares are being held as treasury stock; none have been cancelled.

• Capital structure impact: – Issued shares outstanding (excluding treasury shares) decreased to 781.61 million from 781.85 million, a reduction of 0.03%. – Treasury shares outstanding rose to 6.84 million. – Total issued shares remain at 788.45 million.

• Repurchase mandate utilisation: – The buyback forms part of the mandate approved on 22 May 2026, which authorises the repurchase of up to 78.27 million shares. – Cumulative repurchases under this mandate now stand at 1.77 million shares, representing 0.23% of the company’s issued share base at mandate date.

• Post-buyback restrictions: In line with Hong Kong listing rules, FIH Mobile is barred from issuing new shares, or selling or transferring treasury shares, until 18 September 2026.

The company confirmed that the repurchase complied with Hong Kong Stock Exchange regulations and that no material changes have been made to the explanatory statement filed on 17 April 2026.
