The list of winners for the second Zhejiang Provincial Intellectual Property Award has been officially announced, with two companies from Nanhu District securing third prizes. This prestigious award is unique in China for covering all categories of intellectual property and the entire chain of creation, utilization, protection, management, and service. The success of these companies in a competitive field underscores the robust quality of their innovative achievements.
Zhejiang Rongtai Technology Enterprise Co., Ltd. was awarded third prize in the invention patent category. The company is a leading enterprise in the domestic high-performance insulating new materials sector. The winning project, "An Epoxy Resin Adhesive for Impregnation with High Heat Resistance and Its Preparation Method," represents the culmination of years of deep industry expertise. As a national high-tech enterprise, Rongtai Technology consistently prioritizes technological innovation as its core development engine. It currently holds 62 valid patents, including 33 invention patents, has completed over 30 national, provincial, and municipal-level science and technology projects, and has won several provincial-level awards for scientific and technological progress.
Beyond technological R&D, the company also holds significant influence in setting industry standards. Serving as the vice-chairman unit of the National Insulating Materials Industry Association, Rongtai Technology has led or participated in the formulation of more than 40 national and industry standards, continuously guiding the industry's technological development.
Meanwhile, Jiaxing Jiasai Information Technology Co., Ltd. won a third prize for its computer software copyright titled "Jiasai Domestically Developed and Self-Researched Police Communication Mobile Operating System [Abbreviation: JOS] V3.0." Unlike breakthroughs in physical materials, Jiasai Information's innovation focuses on the foundational support for digital security. This national high-tech enterprise specializes in independently developed, domestically produced secure and trustworthy operating systems. Its products cover both integrated hardware-software and pure software delivery models and can be adapted to various smart terminals including mobile phones, tablets, vehicle-mounted devices, smart wearables, and even embodied intelligent devices, building a security barrier from the system's foundational layer and providing reliable work terminal solutions for several key industries.
Years of independent R&D have also earned the company substantial credentials. Jiasai Information has been recognized as a Zhejiang Provincial Specialized, Refined, Distinctive, and Innovative SME, a Zhejiang Provincial Digital Service Provider, and a Zhejiang Provincial High-Tech Enterprise R&D Center, among other titles. Its core products have been selected for the Zhejiang Provincial First Edition Software Products list, with its technical strength receiving broad recognition.
Representatives from the companies stated that maintaining control over core technologies is their fundamental development principle, and this award will motivate their teams to continue refining their products to strengthen the digital security foundation for more sectors.
Fostering a Supportive Ecosystem
The joint success of these two companies is not an isolated achievement but a natural outcome of Nanhu District's long-term commitment to providing comprehensive intellectual property services and cultivating a robust regional innovation ecosystem. Since the beginning of this year, the district has focused on synergizing both creation and transformation to continuously energize the innovation drive of market entities. In the first half of the year, the district saw 136 new invention patents enter pre-examination and 214 authorizations granted, achieving both quantitative growth and qualitative improvement in innovation output. Notably, the "High-Value Patent Practice of Kailesi Intelligent Logistics Robot" was selected as one of the province's first batch of high-value patent典型案例, the only project from Jiaxing City to be included.
In terms of梯队 cultivation, Nanhu District has been promoting high-value patent布局 in a tiered manner. It has guided three companies, including Yate Electric Appliance Co., Ltd., to apply for provincial high-value patent cultivation projects and supported the Tsinghua Yangtze River Delta Research Institute in applying for a cultivation platform. The district has completed the filing of 6 patent-intensive products and added 7 new "Golden Seed" intellectual property enterprises, bringing the cumulative number of入库 enterprises to 157.
