Paradise Entertainment Issues Profit Warning, Projects HK$82.60 Million Interim Loss Amid Macau Exit and 74% Equipment Sales Drop

Paradise Entertainment Limited has alerted shareholders that it expects to record a net loss of HK$82.60 million for the six months ended 30 June 2026, reversing from a HK$177.80 million profit in the prior-year period. The 2025 interim profit had comprised HK$29.00 million from continuing operations and HK$148.80 million from a discontinued operation.

Management attributes the downturn to two primary factors:

1. Cessation of Macau casino management services • The related service agreement expired on 2 December 2025 and was not renewed. • No revenue was recognized from this segment during the Reporting Period versus HK$382.60 million a year earlier.

2. Sharp contraction in electronic gaming equipment and systems sales • Segment revenue fell by HK$93.10 million, a 74.2% year-on-year decline, largely due to weaker demand for live multi-game (LMG) terminals in Macau. • Management believes customers delayed purchases in anticipation of the upcoming “Black Coral” next-generation LMG platform, scheduled for launch in H2 2026 or early 2027.

The financial figures are based on unaudited management accounts and remain subject to review. Paradise Entertainment plans to release its full interim results by end-August 2026.
