ABC (01288) announced the successful issuance of its 2025 Perpetual Capital Bonds (Phase II) (Bond Connect) on October 30, 2025. The bonds, with a total issuance size of RMB40 billion, carry a coupon rate of 2.27% for the first five years, adjustable every five years thereafter. The issuer retains conditional redemption rights on each interest payment date starting from the fifth year. Proceeds from the bond issuance will be used to replenish the bank's additional Tier 1 capital.
