Sinopec Shanghai Petrochemical Company Limited will convene its first H Shareholders’ Meeting for 2026 on 26 June 2026 at 2:30 p.m. in the North Building of Jinshan Hotel, Shanghai.
The sole agenda item is a special resolution—conducted by non-cumulative voting—to authorise the Board to repurchase both domestic shares and overseas-listed foreign shares.
Shareholder eligibility hinges on the register of members maintained by Computershare Hong Kong Investor Services Limited. H-shareholders recorded by the close of business on 23 June 2026 may attend and vote. To qualify, any share transfers must be lodged with Computershare by 4:30 p.m. on 22 June 2026, after which the register will close from 23 June 2026 to 26 June 2026 (both days inclusive).
Proxy forms, together with any notarised authorisations, must reach Computershare’s office or the Company’s statutory address no later than 2:30 p.m. on 25 June 2026. Each shareholder or proxy will vote by poll.
The meeting is expected to conclude within a single working day, and attendees are responsible for their own travel and accommodation costs.
As of the 5 June 2026 notice date, the Board comprises four executive directors (Guo Xiaojun, Lu Zhiyong, Du Jun, Huang Xiangyu), two non-executive directors (Xie Zhenglin, Qin Zhaohui) and five independent non-executive directors (Tang Song, Chen Haifeng, Yang Jun, Zhou Ying, Huang Jiangdong).
