Advance Auto Parts' stock soared 5.41% in pre-market trading following the release of its first-quarter financial results that exceeded analyst expectations on both earnings and revenue.

The automotive parts retailer reported adjusted earnings per share of $0.77 for the quarter, significantly beating the consensus estimate of $0.45. Revenue reached $2.6 billion, slightly above the $2.58 billion expected by analysts. Comparable store sales grew 3.5%, driven by improved transaction volumes and customer service focus, while gross margin expanded to 45.1%.

The company also reaffirmed its full-year 2026 guidance, expecting net sales between $8.49 billion and $8.58 billion and adjusted diluted EPS in the range of $2.40 to $3.10. The strong quarterly performance, marked by a swing to profitability from a loss in the prior year, has boosted investor confidence in the company's turnaround efforts.
