Kunlun Energy repurchases HK$6.80 million in shares on 8 June; 19.13 million shares now pending cancellation

Kunlun Energy Company Limited disclosed that it bought back 988,000 ordinary shares on 8 June 2026 through on-exchange transactions at prices between HK$6.83 and HK$6.91 per share, for a total consideration of HK$6.80 million.

Issued share capital • The company’s issued share count was unchanged at 8.66 billion shares as of both 31 May and 8 June 2026, as the repurchased shares had not yet been cancelled.

Cumulative buy-back tally (25 Mar – 8 Jun 2026) • Including the latest purchase, Kunlun Energy has acquired 19.13 million shares for cancellation that remain outstanding as at 8 June. • Based on the disclosed daily average prices, total cash deployed over the period amounts to approximately HK$140.78 million, implying an average buy-back price of about HK$7.36 per share. • The aggregate shares repurchased represent roughly 0.22% of the current issued share capital.

Repurchase mandate utilisation • The 8 June transaction lifts the number of shares bought back under the mandate approved on 28 May 2026 to 4.33 million, equivalent to 0.05% of the share capital on the approval date. • The company remains authorised to repurchase up to 865.88 million shares under this mandate.

Regulatory considerations • In line with Hong Kong Listing Rules, Kunlun Energy is subject to a 30-day moratorium on issuing new shares following the latest buy-back, lasting until 8 July 2026.

All repurchased shares are intended for cancellation upon settlement, after which the total issued share capital will be reduced accordingly.
