Standard Chartered PLC (Standard Chartered) Announces 2.20 Billion Voting Shares in Issue

Standard Chartered PLC released an update on 1 June 2026 detailing its share capital and voting rights position in accordance with the UK Financial Conduct Authority’s Disclosure Guidance and Transparency Rule 5.6.1.

As of 29 May 2026, Standard Chartered’s issued ordinary share capital comprised 2.20 billion ordinary shares with a nominal value of USD 0.50 each. The company confirmed an equivalent 2.20 billion total voting rights, with each ordinary share carrying one vote. No shares are held in treasury.

Shareholders may use the 2.20 billion total voting rights as the denominator when calculating disclosure obligations under the FCA’s transparency rules. Notifications should be directed to Investor.Relations@sc.com and Group-Corporate.Secretariat@sc.com.
