Since 2018, the China International Import Expo (CIIE) has leveraged its service trade exhibition area as a key platform, continuously upgrading, expanding functions, and innovating mechanisms. It has gathered global high-quality service resources and improved policy ecosystems, injecting robust momentum into China's high-quality development of service trade.
At this year's CIIE, the service trade exhibition area continues its mission of empowerment, focusing on the theme "Connecting Industries, Connecting China." It highlights the digital transformation needs across industries, driving deep integration and collaborative openness between the service and manufacturing sectors, while providing a premium platform for global enterprises to connect and co-create value.
On this platform, many long-term players in the Chinese market showcased significant achievements. Dun & Bradstreet, a six-time exhibitor, introduced its "End-to-End Solution for Chinese Enterprises Going Global" and its first consumer-facing product in China, "Long Yi Cha TM," demonstrating its innovative capabilities in helping Chinese companies overcome globalization challenges.
"Chinese enterprises entering global markets now face deeper challenges, including market insights, risk management, and compliance operations. In an uncertain global landscape, objective data is almost the only reliable 'navigator,'" said Wu Guangyu, President of Dun & Bradstreet China. The company's solution covers strategic planning, marketing expansion, supplier and customer management, and credit management, aiming to efficiently support Chinese enterprises in global expansion.
Wu noted that in February, Dun & Bradstreet became one of the first foreign companies approved for China's expanded pilot program in value-added telecom services. "Leveraging our global data capabilities and China's open policies, we aim to help businesses connect worldwide opportunities, enhance compliance, mitigate risks, and achieve high-quality growth."
"CIIE reaffirms China's commitment to openness and cooperation, and we see growing enthusiasm among enterprises for global expansion," Wu added. Moving forward, Dun & Bradstreet will continue introducing global products, adapting them to local market needs and regulations to boost efficiency for clients.
At the booth of Fung Group, a global leader in consumer goods supply chains, a signing ceremony drew attention—Fung Group and Sembcorp Urban Development signed a strategic MOU to launch "China-Asia Connect," a comprehensive platform supporting medium-sized Chinese manufacturers in accelerating globalization with greater resilience and efficiency.
Fung Group's exhibition featured three themes: "Consumer Goods Supply Chain," "Fashion Consumer Goods," and "Collaborative Globalization Strategies," showcasing its multidimensional approach to manufacturing upgrades, consumer innovation, and win-win cooperation.
With its global supply chain network and digital innovation capabilities, Fung Group is building an integrated ecosystem for manufacturing, technology, and business intelligence to support global expansion.
"Eight years with CIIE is not just an annual journey but reflects our unwavering confidence in China's market and commitment to high-quality growth," said Feng Yujin, President of Fung Group China. "Amid a new phase of economic globalization and complex trade environments, we will leverage our century-old supply chain expertise and localized services to help Chinese enterprises engage in global cooperation more efficiently, resiliently, and sustainably."
As the global exhibition industry recovers, China's strong growth and vast potential make it a key focus for international players. French GL Events Group, a leading global exhibition company and six-time CIIE participant, reinforced its China strategy with multiple initiatives.
On November 6, GL Events Greater China and Mingyu Business Travel signed an MOU to explore cross-industry innovation in "tourism + exhibitions" by combining their expertise.
Romain, CEO of GL Events Greater China, highlighted the group's 20-year presence in China, bridging international and local markets. "We help Chinese companies expand globally while introducing international firms to China. Going forward, we plan to explore new sectors and cities, deepen localization, and fulfill our vision of 'exploring new frontiers for growth,' continuing to connect the world."
CIIE serves as a window into China's shift from "selling globally" to "linking globally." Today, global expansion is a necessity for many Chinese enterprises, and a robust, specialized, and ecosystem-driven industry is rapidly emerging.
These service trade providers are collectively building a new ecosystem, using CIIE as a pivot to efficiently connect global resources and markets.
