At the opening of the 2026 China Internet Conference, Ma Hongbin, Party Committee Secretary and Senior Vice President of Kuaishou Technology, delivered a keynote speech on strengthening the digital intelligence foundation and using AI to empower a new community economy, allowing new quality productive forces to take root across all industries.

He stated that the core value of digital technology lies not in remaining confined to laboratory code and parameters, but in its practical application within the real economy. Its purpose is to activate the inherent momentum for survival and development for the vast number of small and medium-sized enterprises and the general public.

He outlined that over its 15-year history, Kuaishou has achieved a platform GMV in the trillions, revenue in the hundreds of billions, and profits in the tens of billions, with a daily active user base exceeding 400 million and a monthly active user base over 700 million. The platform's ecosystem is built upon three foundational principles. The first is equitable traffic distribution, committed to making every lifestyle visible, providing a stage for ordinary workers in remote villages to showcase themselves. The second is trust-driven engagement, leveraging the platform's "laotie" (close friend) culture to build highly sticky user relationships and create a commercial loop with high repurchase rates. The third is empowering all sectors, transforming short videos and live streaming from mere content carriers into new tools, new counters, and new workshops that serve the real economy.

Ma Hongbin revealed that, supported by this ecosystem, Kuaishou has cumulatively facilitated the creation of 48.6 million employment opportunities and assists over 26 million practitioners in increasing their income annually. This is particularly impactful in creating new growth spaces for niche sectors that previously struggled to be profitable. He emphasized that these concrete figures represent the tangible outcomes of digital intelligence technology empowering industries and serving public welfare.
