ATV Holdings Placed in Court-Ordered Liquidation; Official Receiver Takes Charge, Trading Still Halted

Asia Television Holdings Limited (ATV Holdings) announced that the High Court of Hong Kong issued a winding-up order on 22 May 2026 under HCCW No. 573 of 2025. Pursuant to the Companies (Winding Up and Miscellaneous Provisions) Ordinance, the Official Receiver, Lilian Chow, has been appointed Provisional Liquidator and now manages the company’s affairs, business and property as its agent without personal liability.

Under section 182 of the Ordinance, any disposal of company assets, share transfers or changes in member status made after the winding-up petition date of 11 September 2025 are void unless otherwise ordered by the Court.

Trading in ATV Holdings’ shares has been suspended since 9:00 a.m. on 11 August 2025 and will remain halted until further notice. Prior to the liquidation order, the board comprised executive directors Ms. Zha Mengling and Mr. Liu Minbin, and independent non-executive directors Mr. Dai Lei and Mr. Kuang Feng.

The Provisional Liquidator will provide additional updates on the liquidation process when appropriate, and stakeholders are advised to consider professional advice regarding the implications of the court order and continued trading suspension.
