Haichang Holdings Surges Over 13% Intraday as Major Stakeholder Sells 21.75% Stake to Ming Mei for HK$1.11 Billion

HAICHANG HLDG (02255.HK) surged more than 13% during intraday trading, and as of the time of writing, the shares were up 8.11% at HK$0.40, with a turnover of HK$54.1069 million.
According to an announcement by HAICHANG HLDG (02255.HK), Qu Cheng and Xiangxun Xinghai plan to collectively transfer a 21.75% stake, with an entity under Ming Mei taking over the shares. The total transaction consideration is approximately HK$1.114 billion.
Upon completion of the deal, Xiangxun Xinghai will no longer hold controlling shareholder status, while Ming Mei will become the company's second-largest shareholder. Qu Cheng, whose trust ownership will decrease from 28.21% to 19.13%, will remain a major shareholder.
