One Media: Tiong Kiew Chiong Retires; Tiong Yijia Joins Board, Committees and Becomes Authorised Representative

One Media Group Limited announced that Executive Director and Deputy Chairman Mr Tiong Kiew Chiong retired at the 13 August 2026 annual general meeting after choosing not to seek re-election. His exit also ends his roles on the Nomination Committee, Remuneration Committee and as an authorised representative under Hong Kong Listing Rules. The company confirmed no disagreements with the Board and no matters requiring shareholder attention.

Effective 14 August 2026, Ms Tiong Yijia, aged 41, will become an Executive Director, member of both the Nomination and Remuneration Committees, and an authorised representative. Ms Tiong currently serves as an executive director of Media Chinese International Limited and oversees that group’s digital transformation and AI strategy. Her background spans business development, media operations, sales, marketing and corporate management. She holds bachelor’s degrees in Commerce and Arts from the University of Melbourne.

Board relationships: Ms Tiong is a niece of substantial shareholders Dato’ Sri Dr Tiong Ik King and the late Tan Sri Datuk Sir Tiong Hiew King, a cousin of Non-executive Director Ms Tiong Choon and a distant relative of the retiring Mr Tiong Kiew Chiong. She is also an independent non-executive director of FWD Group Holdings Limited.

Terms and compensation: Ms Tiong signed a letter of appointment covering 14 August 2026 to 31 March 2029. Annual remuneration is set at HK$130,000, determined by duties, company performance and prevailing market conditions. As of the announcement date, she holds no shares or underlying shares in One Media Group.

The Board expressed gratitude to Mr Tiong for his contributions and extended congratulations to Ms Tiong on her appointment.

As of 13 August 2026, the Board comprises one non-executive director, two executive directors and three independent non-executive directors.
