As a key part of the 2026 Zhihu Science Season, Zhihu (NYSE: ZH) recently introduced the "Paper Open Source Initiative," which uses AI applications to connect the entire chain between the Zhihu community and paper websites, offering a series of features such as one-click access to paper discussions, question-linked paper cards, and ORCID binding, providing researchers with a more efficient and trustworthy academic exchange experience.

To date, the Zhihu community has accumulated 226 million science-related posts, 42.47 million creators, and 429.4 billion total views.

According to Zhihu (NYSE: ZH), through the "Paper Open Source Initiative," paper reading shifts from a private activity to public co-creation, and research outputs transform from entries on a publication list into public knowledge assets that are seen, discussed, and understood.

At a time when AI is profoundly changing the scientific research paradigm, Zhihu (NYSE: ZH) hopes to explore a more open and friendly approach to research exchange, allowing isolated papers to evolve into academic achievements that are continuously proposed, argued, verified, merged, and iterated.
