According to official sources, China's human resources and social security authorities unveiled a fresh list of professional designations on September 9, introducing eleven new job categories such as port shore-based management engineering technicians, embodied intelligence robot application technicians, and sports data analysts. Alongside these, twenty-three emerging job roles were also published, including community workers, low-altitude logistics personnel, and senior-friendly renovation designers, with six existing occupations like agricultural product brokers having their information updated or adjusted.

Within this latest release, the new job categories comprise five digital-focused roles and three green-oriented positions. As a result of this expansion, the national totals for digital occupations and green occupations have now reached 113 and 142, respectively.

On the modern services front, the newly introduced roles span both business development and daily life needs. Some are tailored to support corporate growth and industrial upgrades, such as sustainable development planners, airport clearance zone inspectors, and intelligent agent developers. Others directly address public needs for an improved quality of life, including incense craft specialists, smart furniture installation and adjustment workers, and fresh-cut flower processing staff.

Since 2019, a cumulative total of 121 new job categories have been published across eight consecutive batches, reflecting the evolving landscape of China's labor market.
