HKD Interbank Rates Mixed; One-Month HIBOR Reverses Lower to 3.02%

On September 29, Hong Kong dollar interbank rates showed mixed movements, with the one-month HIBOR, which is linked to mortgage loans, reported at 3.01607%, down 0.143 basis points.
The three-month HIBOR, which reflects banks' funding costs, rose 0.803 basis points to 3.24238%.
The overnight rate climbed 14.941 basis points to 2.84941%, while the one-week HIBOR rose 2.083 basis points to 3.27631% and the two-week rate fell 2.161 basis points to 3.06488%.
The two-month HIBOR gained 1.113 basis points to 3.14381%.
Among longer tenors, the six-month HIBOR was unchanged at 3.52964%, while the one-year rate rose 1.078 basis points to 3.99673%.
