EV shares jumped in Hong Kong. BYD Company up 6%; NIO up over 5%; Xiaomi up 4.6%; Li Auto, Geely Auto up over 1%.

Stella Li, Executive Vice-President of BYD Company, disclosed that the Company's factory in Brazil received export orders for a total of 100,000 vehicles from Argentina and Mexico, with each country ordering 50,000 vehicles, according to foreign media.

The plant located in Camacari, Bahia, in northeastern Brazil, has an annual output of 150,000 vehicles, and will increase production to 600,000 vehicles in phases, Li added. The plant will also manufacture PHEVs and BEVs, including models such as the Dolphin Mini, BYD King and BYD Song Pro.

Lei Jun, founder of Xiaomi, announced this morning that the new generation SU7 will be officially released at 7 PM this Thursday (19th).

After more than two years of meticulous refinement, the new generation SU7 has seen marked improvements in safety, driving control, intelligent experience, and luxurious quality, Lei previously stated.
