国泰君安国际(01788)公布，香港证监会和廉政公署3月10日到访公司香港主要营业地点执行搜查令，并带走部分文件；一名非董事会成员的雇员被廉署拘留。公司对此高度重视，将继续密切监察此事发展。
鉴于调查，该公司当日实时暂停相关僱员的所有营运及执行职务及权力，直至另行通知为止。集团之整体业务及营运，包括投资银行业务在内的所有业务板块，均维持正常开展；公司财务稳健，各项经营活动合规有序地稳定进行。
国泰君安国际正在获取有关调查的进一步资料，称一如既往地坚守合规底线，稳健经营，致力为客户、合作伙伴及本公司股东创造长期价值。
香港证监会及廉署据报近日突击搜查香港至少两家中资投行的股票资本市场(ECM)部门，当中香港证监会已对中信証券的香港分公司展开调查，涉及该行近期处理的部分股票交易；而国泰君安国际香港的ECM主管潘举鹏(Samuel Pan)，据报则被廉署带走，怀疑是协助调查。
