IBI Group FY2026 Profit Jumps 61.7% on 78.9% Revenue Surge; Final Dividend HK0.5 Cent

IBI Group Holdings Limited reported strong earnings momentum for the financial year ended 31 March 2026.

• Revenue climbed 78.9% year-on-year to HK$592.97 million, driven primarily by a sharp rebound in the Contracting business, which contributed HK$581.90 million or 98.1% of group revenue.

• Gross profit improved 7.9% to HK$47.81 million, translating into a gross margin of 8.06% (FY2025: 13.37%). The margin contraction reflected tight pricing in Hong Kong’s construction market despite higher project volumes.

• Profit before tax rose 64.3% to HK$17.14 million, while profit attributable to shareholders advanced 61.7% to HK$13.56 million. Basic and diluted EPS reached 1.7 HK cents (FY2025: 1.0 HK cent).

Segment Performance — Contracting booked segment profit of HK$13.20 million (FY2025: HK$7.40 million). Hong Kong accounted for 99.2% of contracting revenue; Macau contributed the remainder. — Property Investments delivered HK$6.61 million profit (FY2025: HK$2.50 million) on rental income of HK$9.78 million from the Dublin property and a HK$0.90 million fair-value gain. — Strategic Investments recorded HK$0.36 million profit, comprising HK$0.52 million dividends and a HK$0.08 million fair-value loss on listed securities. — Building Solutions was disposed of on 31 October 2025, resulting in a HK$1.07 million segment loss and a HK$0.43 million disposal loss.

Financial Position • Cash and cash equivalents stood at HK$23.21 million; pledged deposits totalled HK$29.42 million. • Total bank borrowings were HK$73.44 million, of which HK$19.48 million is current and HK$53.96 million non-current. • Current ratio improved to 1.62 times (FY2025: 1.21 times). • Gearing ratio eased to 42.9% from 49.0% a year earlier. • Net assets increased to HK$182.29 million (FY2025: HK$167.34 million).

Dividend The Board proposes a final dividend of HK0.5 cent per share, unchanged from the prior year, representing a total payout of HK$4.00 million. The distribution is subject to shareholder approval at the annual general meeting scheduled for 4 September 2026; payment is expected on or about 5 October 2026.

Capital Expenditure and Commitments CapEx remained modest at HK$0.10 million. The company reported no significant capital commitments or contingent liabilities at year-end.
