On Jun, 04 2026, Keppel REIT (K71U) said its wholly owned subsidiary, Keppel REIT Fin. Company Pte. Ltd., has obtained two revolving credit facilities: one for 100 million Singapore dollars and another for 65 million Australian dollars.

Both facilities are guaranteed by HSBC Institutional Trust Services (Singapore) Limited in its capacity as trustee for Keppel REIT.

Each agreement requires mandatory prepayment if Keppel REIT Management Limited stops managing the trust and a wholly owned subsidiary of Keppel Ltd. is not installed as replacement. The 100 million Singapore dollars loan must be repaid within five business days of notice, while the 65 million Australian dollars facility allows ten business days. The Singapore-dollar loan also provides for renegotiation of terms before repayment.

If such a trigger were to occur and result in cross defaults, up to approximately 2.456 billion Singapore dollars in other Keppel REIT borrowings could be affected. The manager stated that no triggering event has occurred to date.
