VSTECS (00856) surged over 9%, gaining 9.23% to HK$10.77 with trading volume of HK$260 million as of press time.
According to public information, VSTECS operates across three major business segments: enterprise systems, consumer electronics, and cloud computing. The company established its cloud computing division in 2013, marking its entry into cloud services. Starting in 2015, it progressively partnered with major cloud providers including Microsoft, Alibaba Cloud, Amazon, Huawei, and VMware. In 2020, the company acquired cloud management and AI computing scheduling specialist Yun Xing Data (now renamed JEC Yun Xing).
In Southeast Asia, VSTECS serves as NVIDIA's strategic partner, facilitating the implementation of multiple key projects. The group's subsidiary JEC Yun Xing, acting as a software supplier for Huawei Cloud, collaborates with Huawei to provide products and services for seven out of nine national-level intelligent computing centers approved for construction by the Ministry of Science and Technology.
Additionally, on August 21 this year, at the first partner conference of Zhiyuan Robotics, VSTECS announced a major partnership with Zhiyuan Robotics, becoming the company's official platform-type Value-Added Partner (VAP). This collaboration marks the company's first foray into the embodied intelligence sector.
China Securities believes that the company's well-established dual-engine business expansion model benefits enterprise value creation capabilities. Meanwhile, its comprehensive market positioning in emerging business areas such as cloud computing, AI, and embodied intelligence holds significant long-term development potential.
