Prudential updates on recent share buy-back activities

Prudential plc announced that it cancelled 271,230 ordinary shares on Feb, 10 2026, trimming its outstanding share count to about 2.5405 billion.

The company also reported buying back a further 305,305 shares on Feb, 10 2026 via the London Stock Exchange at prices ranging between GBP 11.575 and GBP 11.89. These shares, together with 383,971 shares repurchased on Feb, 09 2026, are awaiting cancellation.

Under its share-repurchase mandate approved on May, 14 2025, Prudential is authorised to buy back up to 262.669 million shares. So far, 66.595 million shares—around 2.6 % of the share base when the mandate was granted—have been repurchased. The company is subject to a moratorium on new share issues until Mar, 12 2026.
