PINE Technology (1079.HK) published its ninth standalone Environmental, Social and Governance report, covering operations in Hong Kong, Shenzhen, and Shanxi between 1 July 2024 and 30 June 2025. The document highlights the company’s governance framework, climate-related initiatives, and performance metrics in line with the latest Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures recommendations.

The report summarizes key ESG goals and results. It indicates that total greenhouse gas emissions (Scopes 1, 2, and 3) were 2.14 tCO2e for the reporting year, showing a notable decline compared to previous figures. The data also reveal a 68% decrease in paper usage intensity per full-time employee. The report states that supply chain monitoring continues to emphasize engaging suppliers with environmental and social standards, while no product recalls, child or forced labor cases, or concluded corruption proceedings were recorded.

Initiatives such as installing LED lights, refining waste recycling, and strengthening relevant training courses are also outlined. Climate-related targets include a 50% reduction in greenhouse gas emissions and electricity consumption by 2027, referencing 2021 baselines. Plans to enhance green procurement remain in progress, as noted in the group’s sustainable procurement policy.

The latest report reiterates PINE Technology’s attention to stakeholder engagement, materiality assessments, and compliance with environmental and labor regulations. The board of directors maintains oversight of all ESG issues and commits to strategies that address priority topics such as climate risk management, resource efficiency, and responsible sourcing.
