BRII-B Executes HK$0.09 Million Share Buyback, Reducing Outstanding Shares by 0.01%

Brii Biosciences Limited (BRII-B) reported a repurchase of 100,000 ordinary shares on 16 September 2026, purchasing the shares on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange at HK$0.86 each for a total consideration of HK$0.09 million.

Following the transaction, the company’s outstanding share count (excluding treasury shares) fell 0.0138% to 721.93 million shares from 722.03 million. Treasury shares increased to 13.02 million, while total issued shares remained unchanged at 734.96 million.

The buyback forms part of the repurchase mandate approved on 16 June 2026, which authorises the company to repurchase up to 72.19 million shares. Cumulative repurchases under this mandate now stand at 300,000 shares, equivalent to 0.0416% of the issued share base on the mandate date.

Under Hong Kong Listing Rule 10.06(3)(a), BRII-B is restricted from issuing new shares or disposing of treasury shares until 16 October 2026. The company confirmed that the repurchase complied with all Main Board requirements and that there have been no material changes to the previously filed explanatory statement.
