嘉信理财首席执行官Rick Wurster在今早的财报电话会议上强调，嘉信理财不仅仅面向婴儿潮一代。他指出，今年新客户中大约三分之一是Z世代，即十几岁和二十几岁的人。而另外34%则是千禧一代，通常定义为29至44岁的人。
“我们的客户平均年龄持续降低，”Wurster表示。
嘉信理财是零售投资的先驱，率先推动经纪行业降低佣金成本。然而，后疫情时期的市场反弹使得新一代交易者崛起，像Robinhood这样的科技驱动型经纪商因提供符合年轻投资者需求的移动产品而取得成功。
Robinhood的股价今年已超过三倍，近期几乎在市值上超越嘉信理财，尽管随后股票有所回落。
嘉信理财在周四报告了创纪录的第三季度利润，达到23.6亿美元，由于股票的快速上涨，投资者保持活跃并频繁交易。收入也同比增长27%，达到61.4亿美元，创下历史新高。
该经纪公司还计划在2026年上半年推出比特币和以太坊的现货交易。
“我们已经和年轻投资者赢得了胜利，”Wurster表示。“加密货币将是一个附加项。”
