H World Group-S (01179) saw its stock soar 5.12% in intraday trading, reflecting strong investor enthusiasm following the company's impressive performance during China's recent National Day and Mid-Autumn Festival holiday. The hospitality giant reported hosting over 10.55 million guests during the holiday period, marking a substantial 36% increase compared to the previous year.

The company's holiday performance was particularly notable, with overall occupancy rates exceeding 80% across its brand hotels. On October 3, the peak occupancy rate surged to over 98%, resulting in more than 8,100 fully booked locations. Significantly, H World Group also witnessed a 75% year-on-year increase in foreign guests, totaling over 57,000, indicating a robust recovery in international travel.

Adding to the positive sentiment, Morgan Stanley released a bullish research report highlighting early signs of recovery in hotel demand following the Golden Week holiday. The financial services firm suggested that revenue per available room for October 2025 may turn positive, potentially marking the second consecutive month of growth. Given H World Group's sensitivity to industry metrics, analysts expect the company to benefit significantly from this trend, further fueling investor optimism and contributing to the stock's impressive gain.
