Beijing's municipal government has issued a series of measures aimed at supporting the high-quality development of the ultra-high-definition (UHD) audiovisual industry, according to an announcement from the Beijing Municipal Radio and Television Bureau.

The policy calls for accelerating the development of a high-end talent pool in the UHD audiovisual sector. It emphasizes improving a multi-tiered system for cultivating innovative talent, introducing top-tier professionals and innovation teams from both domestic and international markets in accordance with relevant regulations, and attracting outstanding individuals to contribute to the high-quality growth of Beijing's UHD industry.

The measures also outline the establishment of a financial support mechanism for the UHD audiovisual industry. UHD audiovisual enterprises will be eligible for policy-backed support in areas such as credit financing, operating cost subsidies, and listing cultivation, in line with relevant regulations. The policy calls for deepening the coordination mechanism between government, banks, and enterprises in science and technology innovation finance, providing targeted listing guidance for key UHD companies, and supporting UHD enterprises in listing on the domestic main board, the STAR Market, the ChiNext Board, and the Beijing Stock Exchange.

Additionally, the policy supports the establishment of a Beijing UHD industry investment fund to further drive industrial development in UHD audiovisual and related fields.
