据悉，世纪铝业于昨日（8月7日）宣布，计划重启位于南卡罗来纳州的Mt. Holly冶炼厂的闲置生产线。公司表示将为此项目投资约5,000万美元，预计将创造100多个新的就业机会，并有望提高美国铝产量约10%。世纪铝业首席执行官Jesse Gary强调，此次重启得益于美国政府对将关键金属制造业务迁回国内的政策支持。公司补充说，目前以75%产能运营的该工厂将在2026年6月30日前实现满负荷生产。
