BOC HONG KONG (02388) Partners with Manulife Investment for Regional Cooperation

BOC HONG KONG (02388) has entered into a regional partnership with Manulife Investment to offer diversified asset income solutions to clients of BOC HONG KONG and Bank of China (Malaysia). This collaboration leverages both parties' sales networks and product strengths across Asia, aiming to provide investors with diversified asset allocation options.

Leung Suk-yee, Deputy General Manager of Personal Banking Products at BOC HONG KONG, noted that in the first half of this year, most of the bank's clients sought investment products with relatively stable risk profiles that could generate regular returns. In the first quarter of this year, transaction volumes for subscriptions to global multi-asset funds increased by more than double year-on-year, reflecting strong client demand for such investment products.

Additionally, the number of BOC Wealth Management clients at Bank of China (Malaysia) has grown steadily, with continuing growth in demand for wealth management services in the local market.
