Shares of 51WORLD (06651) surged more than 5% during Tuesday afternoon trading, with the stock last changing hands at HK$56.75, up 5.58%, and turnover reaching HK$64.12 million.
The rally follows a recent announcement from the Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Index Company, which revealed the results of its September 2026 quarterly index review for the Hang Seng Tech Index. Notably, 51WORLD has been selected as a constituent of the Hang Seng Tech 100 Index, with the inclusion set to take effect on Monday, September 14, 2026.
In a separate development, 51WORLD's AperOS platform has received its first major update since its initial launch. This latest iteration of AperOS further enhances hardware-software integration, edge-to-cloud data processing, and flexible deployment capabilities. According to the company, the AperData solution now achieves 99% trajectory physical consistency in delivered data, while boosting data production efficiency by over 10 times compared to traditional real-vehicle teleoperation methods at equivalent costs.
Earlier, 51WORLD posted its interim results for the first half of 2026, generating revenue of RMB 124 million, a year-over-year increase of 129.8%. During the reporting period, the company's core physical AI business, 51Sim, which covers autonomous driving and embodied intelligence, saw revenue jump 545.2% year-over-year, with its revenue share expanding from 14.8% to 41.4%, significantly elevating its weighting within the overall business. This marks a pivotal transition for 51Sim, evolving from a supplementary growth segment into a core growth engine for the company. Given the business's market-leading position in autonomous driving and its market breakthroughs in embodied intelligence, the company expects this segment to maintain robust, high-speed growth going forward.
