Since the beginning of this year, Taosheng Village in Jingdong Town has prioritized residential gas safety as a key initiative. By implementing full-coverage installation of two essential gas safety components—automatic shut-off valves and corrugated flexible hoses—the village aims to safeguard the lives and property of its residents.

Taosheng Village adopted a grid-based management system, dividing the area into two grids. Grid leaders and staff conducted thorough inspections and precise surveys to identify households without gas safety devices. During the installation process, the village emphasized both awareness campaigns and supervision. Gas safety promoters actively educated residents on proper gas usage to enhance safety awareness. Meanwhile, village supervisors rigorously monitored installation progress, ensuring timely and effective implementation.

Currently, over half of Taosheng Village’s households have successfully installed the two safety components, marking significant progress. The village will continue strengthening inspections and oversight to provide robust protection for residents' safety and property.
