Lei Jun Confirms Absence from Xiaomi Booth at 2025 Guangzhou Auto Show

The 2025 Guangzhou International Auto Show opened today, with Xiaomi Auto scheduled to hold a press conference at 9:00 AM. However, Xiaomi founder, Chairman, and CEO Lei Jun has personally confirmed that he will not appear at the Xiaomi booth during the event.

Lei Jun revealed that the Xiaomi Auto press conference at the Guangzhou Auto Show will officially begin at 9:00 AM. Xiaomi Auto Vice President Li Xiaoshuang will unveil the enhanced version of the end-to-end assisted driving system, Xiaomi HAD. Following the conference, a virtual tour will showcase Xiaomi Auto's full lineup of models.

According to earlier promotional details, the enhanced Xiaomi HAD system incorporates "reinforcement learning" and a "world model." The reinforcement learning algorithm continuously refines driving strategies within the world model through trial-and-error under a reward mechanism. Li Xiaoshuang stated that the enhanced version delivers significant improvements in longitudinal and lateral driving experiences, as well as road condition comprehension.
