Tongda Hong Tai Holdings Limited has named Mr. Leung Tang Fung, 52, as an independent non-executive director (INED) effective 1 June 2026. Concurrently, he will join the Board’s Audit, Remuneration and Nomination Committees.
Mr. Leung is a seasoned professional in administrative management, public affairs and policy. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from China University of Geosciences (2006) and has accrued more than 20 years of experience in district administration and social services. Since January 2024 he has served as a member of the Wong Tai Sin District Council in Hong Kong and participates in multiple local development and public service committees.
Under a one-year renewable appointment letter, Mr. Leung will receive an annual director’s fee of HK$0.10 million, set with reference to his responsibilities and prevailing market conditions. He is subject to retirement by rotation and re-election at the Company’s annual general meeting in line with Hong Kong Listing Rules and the Company’s constitutional documents.
The Company confirms that Mr. Leung meets all independence criteria under Rule 3.13 of the Hong Kong Listing Rules, holds no other positions within the Group, and has no shareholding interests or relationships with substantial shareholders, Directors or senior management.
Following the appointment, Tongda Hong Tai’s Board comprises two executive directors—Mr. Chan Shiu Man and Mr. Wang Ming Zhi—and four independent non-executive directors—Mr. Wan Aaron Chi Keung, Mr. Chan Luk On, Ms. Kwok Sau King Tina and Mr. Leung Tang Fung.
