Opening Market: Most Domestic Futures Contracts Decline, SC Crude Oil Down Nearly 5%

At the start of the morning session on July 28, 2026, a majority of domestic futures contracts were trading lower, with losses outpacing gains.
Leading the decline, SC Crude Oil dropped nearly 5%, while Fuel Oil fell more than 4%. Other notable losers included Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG), Pure Benzene, Low-Sulfur Fuel Oil (LU), Soda Ash, Styrene (EB), and Coking Coal, all down over 2%.
On the gaining side, Containerized Shipping (Europe Route) rose more than 2%, while Red Dates and Eggs both increased by nearly 1%.
