七国集团财长表示，七国集团已达成广泛共识，目前暂不释放石油储备，七国集团准备在必要时投放石油储备以支持供应。
该集团在声明中称，“我们将继续密切关注能源市场的形势和动态，并将在必要时召开会议，在七国集团内部以及与国际伙伴之间交流信息并进行协调。我们随时准备采取必要措施，包括支持全球能源供应，例如释放储备。”
七国集团财长周一举行视频会议，讨论中东冲突及其对地区稳定、全球经济状况、金融市场的影响，以及保障贸易路线安全的重要性。国际货币基金组织、世界银行集团、经济合作与发展组织及国际能源署的负责人参与了讨论。
