Prudential plc cancels 279,010 shares after latest buy-back

Prudential plc announced that it repurchased 279,010 ordinary shares on the London Stock Exchange on Nov, 17 2025 for an aggregate consideration of about 5.1 million Singapore dollars.

The shares, carrying a nominal value of GBP 0.05 each, will be cancelled, bringing the company’s issued share capital down to 2,558,363,221 ordinary shares.

Together with 273,186 shares bought on Nov, 14 2025 and still pending cancellation, the company now holds 552,196 shares awaiting cancellation under the current share-buyback mandate approved on May, 14 2025.

To date, Prudential has repurchased 48,623,852 shares under this mandate, representing roughly 1.87% of the share base outstanding when the mandate was granted.

Under Hong Kong listing rules, the company is subject to a moratorium on issuing new shares until Dec, 17 2025.
