World Digital Economy Industry Reports HK$10.75 Million in Custodial Holdings; Shareholder Deposits 56 Million Shares with Chong Hing Bank

Recent data from the Hong Kong Stock Exchange reveals a notable change in the custodial holdings of WORLD DIGI ECON (03708). The total custodial market value for the shares is HK$10.752 million, representing 7.70% of the company's shares.

A shareholder of the company has deposited 56 million shares with Chong Hing Bank, leading to an increase in the shareholding proportion by 7.70%.

This follows a previous announcement from the company stating that all conditions precedent under a subscription agreement had been fulfilled, with completion taking place on June 25, 2026. The total of 56 million subscription shares represents approximately 8.34% of the company's existing issued share capital as of the announcement date, and about 7.70% of the issued share capital as enlarged by the allotment and issue of the subscription shares.

The subscription shares were successfully issued to the subscriber at a price of HK$0.18 per share. The net proceeds from the subscription are approximately HK$10.07 million. The company intends to use the net proceeds from the subscription as general working capital for the group.
