消费者预计未来一年物价的年化涨幅为4.4%，低于上月的5%，为今年2月以来的最低水平。他们预计，未来5到10年的通胀年增长率为3.6%，也是5个月来的最低水平。
与此同时，对关税的担忧继续限制人们对经济前景的乐观情绪。该调查负责人Joanne Hsu在一份声明中表示：“消费者对商业状况、劳动力市场甚至自己收入的预期都比一年前要弱。话虽如此，最近两个月信心的上升表明，消费者相信他们在4月和5月预期的最坏情况的风险已经缓解。不过，宣布提高关税或通胀上升可能会抑制市场情绪。”
