RH Petrogas Limited announced that the planned spudding of the Northwest Klagagi-1 exploration well in the Arar block of the Kepala Burung Production Sharing Contract, Southwest Papua, Indonesia, will be postponed.

The company had originally scheduled the well to spud in Feb, 2026 after completing the Karim-1 exploration well. It now expects drilling to begin around the end of the first quarter of 2026, citing intermittent access road obstructions by local villagers and heavy rainfall that has affected road conditions.

During the delay, RH Petrogas has redeployed Petrogas Rig #3 for workover and well services within the Arar block to maintain operational efficiency.

The company said it will issue further updates on the Northwest Klagagi-1 well when available.
