Prudential Cuts Share Count after Latest Buybacks

Prudential plc announced that it cancelled 304,099 ordinary shares on Mar, 03 2026, reducing its issued share capital to 2,535,275,900 shares.

The company also reported that it repurchased 460,449 shares on Mar, 03 2026 through the London Stock Exchange for cancellation at prices ranging from GBP 10.54 to GBP 10.84, spending the equivalent of roughly 8.5 million Singapore dollars.

Together with 470,767 shares bought on Mar, 02 2026 that are still awaiting cancellation, Prudential now has 931,216 shares pending cancellation.

Under the buyback authority approved on May, 14 2025, the insurer has repurchased 72,096,809 shares, representing about 2.77 % of the issued share base at the time the mandate was granted.
