Huaneng Power International Issues 3 Billion Yuan in Short-Term Financing Notes

Huaneng Power International Inc. has announced the successful completion of its 2026 ninth tranche ultra-short-term financing note issuance.

The issuance size for this tranche totals 3 billion yuan, with a maturity period of 98 days and a unit face value of 100 yuan, carrying an issuance interest rate of 1.30%.

Acting as joint lead underwriters, Bohai Bank Co., Ltd., Bank of Beijing Co., Ltd., and China Construction Bank Corporation organized a syndicate to conduct the public offering on the national interbank bond market using a book-building and centralized allotment method.

The proceeds raised from this bond issuance are designated to supplement the company's working capital, adjust its debt structure, repay bank loans, and settle upcoming bond maturities.
