MINIMAX-WP (00100) saw its shares rise more than 8% during the trading session. As of the time of writing, the stock was up 5.01%, trading at HK$890 with a turnover of HK$740 million.
The price movement follows the company's announcement on April 16, via its official website, of the official launch of MaxHermes, described as the world's first cloud-based sandbox of its kind. MaxHermes is an AI assistant developed by MiniMax based on the Hermes Agent framework, capable of self-evolution. Through a unique closed-loop learning mechanism, each time MaxHermes completes a complex task, it automatically extracts reusable "Skills" from the experience and saves them as independent documents. These Skills are then loaded on demand in subsequent use and continuously self-improve based on new user feedback.
The company stated that compared to locally deploying a Hermes Agent, MaxHermes offers a significantly simplified starting path. It lowers the barrier to entry by requiring no personal servers, API keys, or manual configuration of a local environment, making it easily accessible even for novice users.
Regarding application scenarios, MaxHermes is already integrated with multiple instant messaging platforms such as Feishu, DingTalk, and Enterprise WeChat. Users can initiate real-time conversations directly within their commonly used chat applications without needing to switch to an additional platform, with 24/7 responsiveness.
On the cost side, MaxHermes supports the use of a Token Plan to offset task consumption costs, with no additional API fees incurred.
